Declan Knights - Acupoint Wellness Centre

Declan is an Australian Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who has a passion for health and movement.

His interest in osteopathy started at 12 after receiving Osteopathic treatments that healed his ongoing back pain. He studied a year of paramedicine and completed a Master’s in Osteopathy in Australia.

With a strong background and interest in sports, particularly cricket, Declan has worked in injury management and rehabilitation with both local and professional football clubs. He believes in the importance of patient relationships, education, and communication to achieve the best health outcomes. Declan uses various techniques, including soft tissue therapy, articulatory techniques and manipulation, and indirect methods to improve range of motion, relax muscles and calm the nervous systems. He also specializes in concussion management, helping many return to their sports and jobs symptom-free.
